Do You Need Emergency Physiotherapy?
Not every injury needs an emergency room. Sometimes a same day physiotherapist is exactly the right call, and sometimes it is not. Here is how to tell.

Acute back or neck spasm, freshly rolled ankle without deformity, hamstring or calf strain, sudden onset of shoulder or jaw pain, tension headache flare up. All of these benefit from early physiotherapy.
When to skip physio and go to A&E
Suspected fracture (obvious deformity, cannot bear weight, severe pain), open wounds, severe head injury, sudden loss of bladder or bowel control, severe chest pain, or any signs of stroke.
How we handle a same day visit
Focused history, red flag screening, targeted assessment and treatment on the same visit. You leave with pain relief, a plan and a scheduled follow up. Many patients only need one or two visits.
